    Product Description

    This 1:64 Scale diecast replica reproduces the Versatile Big Roy Model 1080 Tractor (Restoration Version), an agricultural or industrial tractor, used for towing and powering field equipment. The Versatile 1080, more commonly known as "Big Roy" has been a brand icon since its introduction in 1977. The sheer size of Big Roy made it a spectacle that had to be seen. At more than 30' (9.3 m) in length and weighing nearly 30 tons, the tractor featured cutting edge technology (including a closed-circuit television and rear-facing camera) and a cab that was large enough to seat three adults. Only one Versatile 1080 was ever built. It was fully restored in 2016 to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Versatile four-wheel drive production and is now on permanent display at the Manitoba Agriculture Museum in Austin, Manitoba First Gear builds pressure-moulded diecast metal replicas of North American trucks and construction equipment, known among collectors for realistic proportions, authentic livery, and durable construction.
